KUHLKLAR ECOLOGY / EVIDENCE BEFORE EXTRAPOLATION.

Evidence before extrapolation.

Site-specific diagnosis, pilot validation and measured ecological outcomes.

Diagnostics first.
Validation before scale.

We work to a “3D Diagnostics + Pilot Testing + Specialist Design” methodology.

Hydrodynamic and water-quality modeling, sediment core trials, macrophyte light-threshold testing and in-situ food-web experiments turn site-specific observations into engineering parameters.

The joint research-center approach described in the brochure connects those parameters to specialist drawings, quantities and operations manuals.

SOUTH CHINA WATER-SOURCE POND / JULY 2025 ACCEPTANCE MONITORING

Observed ecological outcomes.

WATER TRANSPARENCY / cm43.3 → 79.4

Baseline mean → post-restoration mean

+83.4% Secchi depth
CHLOROPHYLL-a / μg/L9.35 → 5.42

Baseline mean → post-restoration mean

−42.0% chlorophyll-a

These before/after measurements reflect combined sediment phosphorus locking, micro-nano aeration and biomanipulation; they do not isolate the effect of an individual intervention or guarantee the same outcome at another site.

Three dimensions of validation.

01 / PHYSICAL

Water column & habitat

Bathymetry, thermal stratification, dissolved-oxygen profiles, flow conditions and light availability.

02 / GEOCHEMICAL

Sediment & nutrient flux

Core profiling, phosphorus fractions, sediment–water exchange and material-suitability trials.

03 / BIOLOGICAL

Plants & food webs

Seasonal macrophyte establishment, mesocosm stocking trials and adaptive trophic management.
